From Schubert to Mendelssohn, to Brahms and Dvorak is a successful song program of soprano Amélie Hois with mezzo-soprano Laura Rieger. They have already given more than ten concerts in Europe with their extraordinary and exciting song program.
With the Italian star tenor Oreste Cosimo, Amélie Hois sings Europe-wide concerts with love duets from Italian, German and English opera repertoire. They were also heard in September 2020 with their program in the Festival'dell Aurora in southern Italy.
2019 Amélie Hois sang her Debut at the Musikverein in Vienna with the famous piece "Der Hirt auf dem Felsen" from Schubert for voice, clarinet and piano.
In 2018, as part of the great festival of opera in cooperation with the Teatro Grande di Brescia, Amélie Hois sang arias and duets of Italian operas with tenor Oreste Cosimo and the orchestra Bazzini Consort conducted by Aram Khacheh.
At the young age of only 19, Amélie Hois sang a solo oratorio recital with members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra at Graz Cathedral in Austria.
Amélie Hois sang over forty operetta concerts with the Vienna Kaiser Orchestra as part of a major concert tour through Austria. She achieved the most success through her performances as Adele in Johann Strauss' operetta "Die Fledermaus".
Amélie Hois won the 2018 International Dostal Operetta Competition with the aria "Du nur, bist das Glück meines Lebens".
